1. Find this part of your theme’s code (it’s usually towards the beginning):


From here, you will add different pieces of CSS to create different effects.

• For letter spacing, paste this under the a:hover{ part of the code:letter-spacing:1px;

• To change the color of the link when it’s hovered over, use this:color:#COLOR CODE HERE;(for a complete list of different HTML colors codes, click here)

• To create a highlighter effect (basically the area around the link has a different background color), use this:background-color:#COLOR CODE HERE;To get the highlighter effect with rounded edges, add this:-moz-border-radius:6px;-webkit-border-radius:6px;

• To get a drop shadow effect while hovering over a link, use this:text-shadow: 2px 2px 2px #C7C7C7;(You can change the color code to a darker gray for a more dramatic drop shadow).
